It was a lightning start to this quarter final as Mia opened the scoring after 17 seconds, following a brilliant move from kick off. Chelsea FC Blenheim looked to hammer home this advantage, hunting the ball down whenever out of possession. 15 minutes later Dior slotted home a great cross to make it 2-0. Chatham Town did pull a goal back before half time, but it was certainly against the run of play. The Chelsea FC Blenheim never let Chatham Town into the game. Mia restored the 2 goal lead with her second in first half injury time.
The girls came out fighting in the second half, determined to book a place in the National Football Youth League semi-final. The second half performance matched the first, with a dominant display being rounded off with a fourth goal and Mia's third.
This win leaves the girls with 4 wins from the last 4 games going into half term. Performances have finally turned into strong results.
