Chelsea FC Blenheim Development team welcomed Brentford to Blenheim, with a point enough to secure a top two finish in the league and keep their league title hopes alive.
The game was an even contest with both sides cancelling each other out. The first clear cut chance fell to Brentford who slotted home a ball over the top, to make it 1-0. The goal gave Chelsea FC Blenheim a shot in the arm and they started to play with more freedom.
Half time came and went and it was a good finish from Maddie just after the break on the edge of the area that bought the home side level.
Both sides tried to assert themselves during the game in the final 10 minutes with the game finishing 1-1; both sides happy with the point.
A top 2 finish secured and a slight hope of a title push if other results go our way over the coming weeks.
