Player of the Match - Mia
The Chelsea FC Blenheim Academy side travelled to Reading FC in their fifth co-sectioned away game in the National Football Youth League Premier.
Reading boarded a starting 11 with four first team players and their quality helped the home side dominate the ball in the first half. Chelsea FC Blenheim started cautiously and Reading FC capitalised, scoring twice before the half time break.
With a tactical change at half time Chelsea FC Blenheim came out of the block quickly when the game resumed. With Amelia stealing the ball form the Reading defence and calmly slotting passed the goalkeeper. Chelsea FC Blenheim now looked the stronger side and had several chances to draw the game level. It was, however, Reading FC who scored the next goal, with an incisive move. Chelsea FC Blenheim kept pushing forward and scored the final goal of the game, with Dior slotting home from the penalty spot.
