Academy Team - Chelsea FC Blenheim 1 v 1 Billericay Town

This week the Chelsea FC Blenheim Academy side welcomed Billericay Town to Blenheim in the National Football Youth League.

The Academy sided started strongly but fell a goal behind to a well delivered corner. This could have subdued the fast start for the Chelsea FC Blenheim side, in contrast it had the opposite effect. Chelsea FC Blenheim created several chances with one hitting the post and one being cleared off the line.

Minutes after the restart Chelsea FC Blenheim were level; Matilda rising highest to head home the perfect cross from Beth. Again, chances were created but not converted. A brilliant performance but Chelsea FC Blenheim unfortunately had to settle for a point.
