Chelsea FC Blenheim Development demonstrated tremendous resilience and determination this week as they battled to a dramatic 4–4 draw against Oaklands College Wolves in a fiercely contested encounter. Chelsea FC Blenheim Development struck first midway through the opening third. Grace produced a moment of quality, unleashing a long-range effort that looped perfectly over the goalkeeper and into the net to give her side the early advantage. As the game progressed, Oaklands began to make the most of their larger squad and the ability to rotate players. Their fresh energy allowed them to take control for a period, scoring three goals to turn the match around and establish a 3–1 lead. However, the Chelsea FC Blenheim Development side refused to let the game slip away. Gracie ignited the comeback with a moment of individual brilliance, embarking on a weaving run from just inside the opposition half before finishing calmly to reduce the deficit to 3–2 and place the pressure firmly back on Oaklands. Oaklands Wolves managed to extend their lead again to make it 4–2, but even with fatigue beginning to show, Chelsea FC Blenheim Development's players continued to display the fighting spirit that has defined their recent performances. Grace once again produced a superb long-range strike to make it 4–3 and set up a tense finale. Then, with just ten minutes remaining, a well-worked move saw the ball worked into the penalty area where Gracie kept her composure to guide a precise finish across the goalkeeper and into the corner, levelling the score at 4–4. Chelsea FC Blenheim Development pushed for a winner and were unlucky not to find it. A powerful Chelsea FC Development shot appeared to have clearly crossed the goal line before the Oaklands goalkeeper scrambled the ball away, but the referee was unable to spot it.
